Marketing Specialist– The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in shaping the guest experience and driving growth across our hotel portfolio, utilizing a deep understanding of employer branding, employee engagement, and organizational culture, all of which directly influence how the public perceives a brand, to ensure that the company’s external messaging is supported by an authentic internal culture and the brand is credible, consistent, and appealing to both customers and prospective employees. This position is responsible for creating and executing innovative marketing strategies that increase brand visibility, attract new guests, and build loyalty among returning travelers. By leveraging digital and traditional marketing channels, the Marketing Specialist will highlight each property’s unique offerings, support revenue goals, and ensure our hotels stand out in a competitive hospitality market. Specific duties include:
· Develop and implement marketing campaigns within a specified budget to promote hotels, including seasonal promotions, special events, and loyalty programs, aligning employer branding, employee engagement, and organizational culture with external brand strategy.
· Develop digital marketing strategy, including social media, email, SEO, and paid advertising, to maximize direct bookings and brand visibility.
· Create compelling content for websites, social platforms, and marketing collateral that highlights hotel amenities, guest experiences, and local attractions.
· Coordinate with hotel general managers, sales teams, and human resources to support operational forecasting and align marketing strategies with property goals, revenue targets, and staffing needs, and working with these departments to develop strategies for motivating staff to support a consistent and appealing brand.
· Track, analyze, and report on marketing performance metrics to develop strategic marketing plans, optimize campaigns, and drive ROI.
· Collaborate with creative teams and external agencies on photography, videography, and branding projects.
· Conduct market research and competitor analysis to understand target audiences, competitors, market trends, opportunities, and guest preferences.
· Support the development of annual marketing plans, budgets, and promotional calendars.
· Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels and properties.
· Working with a variety of software tools including Property Management System (PMS) software, Yield Management Systems software, Daily Revenue System (DRS) software, Central Reservation System software, and Microsoft Office.
Position requires (1) Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, human resources, or a closely-related business field related to employer branding, employee engagement, and/or organizational culture. Employer will accept foreign equivalent education. (2) 2 years of experience in a hotel sales/marketing position, including operational forecasting, working with budgets, motivating staff, developing strategic plans, and working with Property Management System (PMS) software, Yield Management Systems software, Daily Revenue System (DRS) software, Central Reservation System software, and Microsoft Office. (3) Work schedule Monday to Friday 9am to 7pm with a 1-hour lunch break; Saturdays and Sundays may be required for hotel events approximately twice per month.
